IT CONSISTS IN OBTAINING (I) BY REACTING HYDROXYPYRIMIDINES OF FORMULA (II) WITH ACID HALIDES OF FORMULA (III), OR WITH PHOSGENE, AND THEN WITH DIMETHYLAMINE, IN WHICH FORMULAS R AND R2 ARE THE SAME OR DIFFERENT, AND INDIVIDUALLY MEAN ALCOXY, ALKYL , ALKYLSULFINYL OR ALKYLSULFONYL, AND R1 SIGNIFIES HYDROGEN OR ALKYL. THESE PROCEDURES ARE GENERALLY CARRIED OUT USING DILUENTS, OBTAINING THE COMPOUNDS IN THE FORM OF OILS, WHICH ARE DISTILLED THROUGH PROLONGED HEATING UNDER REDUCED PRESSURE AT MODERATELY ELEVATED TEMPERATURES SO THAT THEY DO NOT DECOMPOSITE, IN THIS WAY IT IS POSSIBLE TO RELEASE THE LAST VOLATILE PARTS AND PURIFY THEM . THE COMPOUNDS OBTAINED ARE USED AS A MEANS TO COMBAT PESTS, ESPECIALLY AS INSECTICIDES. *FORMULA*
