titleOfInvention | PROCEDURE FOR THE POLYMERIZATION OF POLYBUTADIENE IN AN ORGANIC SOLVENT |
abstract | Process for the polymerization of polybutadiene in an organic solvent, characterized in that butadiene is polymerized in the presence of a catalyst composed of a rare earth carboxylate of formula **(Formula)** an aluminum alkyl A1R43 and/or R42A1H, and a Lewis acid, where in the formulas M denotes a trivalent rare earth element with the order number 57 to 71, R1, R2 and R3 are the same or different and denote alkyl radicals with 1 to 10 carbon atoms, the sum being all carbon atoms, the sum of all carbon atoms in the substituents being 6 to 20, and R4 is an alkyl radical having 1 to 10 carbon atoms, at temperatures from -20 to +150°C. |
