titleOfInvention PROCEDURE FOR OBTAINING A PLATINOAMINE COMPLEX.
abstract Process for obtaining a platinum-amine complex, in particular for obtaining a 2,2-substituted 1,3-alkanediamine-platinum (II) complex, of formula (I) **(Formula-01)** in in which R1 and R2 independently may be a hydrogen atom or a substituted or unsubstituted alkyl, cycloalkyl, aryl or aralkyl group, while R1 and R2 may together form a substituted or unsubstituted cycloalkyl group, R3 and R4 independently represent a hydrogen atom or a substituted or unsubstituted alkyl, aryl or aralkyl group, and X represents an anionic group; characterized in that it comprises adding a solution of K2PtC14 to the hydrochloride of **(Formula-02)** boiling the mixture; and adding a solution of NaOH in water until the pH of the solution remains at 6; and, if desired, converting X to another anion by reacting a compound of formula (I) wherein R1, R2, R3 and R4 are as defined above and X is iodine, with silver nitrate, in an aqueous medium; separating the silver iodide formed; and then reacting with an aqueous solution of KX, where X is the desired anion.
