titleOfInvention A PROCEDURE FOR PREPARING A DEMELASS BASED FEED BLOCK CONTAINING FERROUS SULPHATE AND MAGNESIUM OXIDE
abstract 1.- A process for preparing a block of feed based on molasses containing ferrous sulfate and magnesium oxide, a process that comprises the operations of: mixing around 18 to 65% by weight of molasses, around 4 to 9% in weight of monobasic salt of phosphoric acid, about 0.5 to 5% by weight of water-absorbent clay and 5 to 20% water under high-speed shearing action, for a period of time effective to disperse the clay, and adding and mixing 5 to 30% animal fat, about 8% by weight of ferrous sulfate, and about 3 to about 15% by weight of magnesium oxide to obtain a viscous nutrient mixture that solidifies into a hard, weather-resistant block. , within one hour, at room temperature.
