titleOfInvention | PROCEDURE FOR THE PREPARATION OF ACILHIDROCARBI- LAMINOALCANOIC ACIDS |
abstract | Process for the preparation of acylhydrocarbylaminoalkanoic acids of the general formula I **formula**, where R1 signifies an aliphatic or alicyclic hydrocarbon radical or an optionally substituted phenyl group, R2 signifies a hydrogen atom, an alkyl group, an alkenyl group or an alkynyl group, R3 denotes a hydrogen atom, an alkyl group, a cycloalkyl group or an optionally substituted phenyl radical, R4 denotes an alkyl group, a cycloalkyl group, an optionally substituted phenyl group, at least 3 being the sum of the carbon atoms of the alkyl substituents R2, R3 and R4, or R3 and R4 jointly signify an alkylene group or R2, R3 and R4 including the adjacent carbon atom signify an adamantyl radical, n signifies 3, 4 or 5, thus as their salts with organic or inorganic bases, characterized in that a hydrocarbylaminoalkanoic acid of general formula II **formula** is acylated where R2, R3 R4 and n have the s ignified previously indicated, optionally with protection of the carboxyl group, with an acyl derivative of the general formula III R1-CO-R8 (III), in which R8 represents an active excess group or a group R1-CO-O and R1 has the meanings mentioned above and eventually becomes the salts below; a hydrocarbylaminoalkenoic acid of the general formula IV **formula** is hydrogenated, in which R1 R2, R3, R4 and n have the meanings indicated above, optionally with protection of the carboxyl group, and optionally subsequently transformed into the salts; or an acylaminoalkanoic acid of the general formula V **formula** is reacted, in which R1 and n have the meanings indicated above and R9 is a hydrogen atom or a metal atom of an alkali metal or alkaline earth metal, optionally with protection of the carboxyl group, with a hydrocarbyl derivative of the general formula VI **formula** in which R2, R3 and R4 have the meanings indicated above and R10 represents a leftover active group, and optionally subsequently transformed into the salts; or a functional derivative of acylhydrocarbylaminoalkanoic acid of the general formula VII **formula** is solvolyzed in which R1, R2, R3 R4 and n have the meanings indicated above and A signifies a functional derivative of a carboxyl group, and optionally subsequently transformed in the rooms |
