titleOfInvention PROCEDURE FOR PREPARING CEPHALOSPORIN SOLVATES
abstract Process for preparing 1,2-propylene glycol cephalosporin solvates of 7- [D- alpha-amino-alpha- (p-hydroxyphenyl) acetamido] -3- (1,2,3-triazol-5-ylthiomethyl) 3-cephem acid -4- carboxylic acid, characterized in that it comprises dissolving 7- [D-alpha-amino-alpha- (p-hydroxyphenyl) acetamido] -3- (1,2,3-triazol-5-ylthiomethyl) -3-cephem-4 acid -carboxylic or a solvate compound thereof in a 1,2-propylene glycol acid under substantially anhydrous conditions and neutralizing the resulting solution to precipitate a crystalline 1,2-propylene glycol solvate compound of 7- [D-alpha-amino-alpha- (p-hydroxyphenyl) acetamido] -3- (1,2,3-triazol-5-ylthiomethyl) 3-cephem-4-carboxylic.
