titleOfInvention IMPROVEMENTS MADE IN THE OBJECT OF MAIN PATENT NO. 448,385 SUBMITTED ON 5/31-76, BY: PROCEDURE FOR THE PREPARATION OF ANILIDES OF 2-HYDROXYETHYLIDENCIAN-ACETIC ACID
abstract Compounds that are considered alkali metal salts, such as lithium, sodium, potassium salts, ammonium salts, alkaline earth metal salts, such as magnesium, calcium or zinc salts, iron salts, as well as salts of magnesium, calcium or zinc, iron salts, as well as salts with organic bases, such as, for example, amines or tetraalkylammonium hydroxides. Sodium, potassium, ammonium, magnesium or calcium salts are preferred, as well as salts with amines of 2 to 8 carbon atoms, such as, for example, piperidine, triethylamine, N-ethylpiperidine, N-methylmorpholine, cyclohexylamine or diethanolamine. As compounds according to the invention there may be mentioned, in addition to those set forth in the preparation examples, for example, the following: (3-bromo-, 3-fluoro-, 3- iodo, 3- (1 '', 1 '', 2 '' - trifluoro-2 '' - chloro-ethoxy) -, 3- (tetrafluoroethoxy) -, 4-bromo-, 4-methoxy-, 4-chloro-, 4-fluoro-, 3,4- dichloro-, 2,3-dichloro, 3,5-dichloro, 2,6-dichloro-, 3-chloro-2-methyl, 5-chloro-2-methyl-, 3,4-dioxymethylene-, 3-ethoxy- , 3,5-bis-trilluoromethyl-, 2,4,6-trichloro-, 2-chloro-4-methoxy-, 2-trifluoromethyl-4-chloro-, 3-methylthio- and 4-ethylthio-anilides) hydroxyethylidene cyanacetic acid. According to the invention a process for the preparation of hydroxyethylene-cyanoacetic acid anilides.
