titleOfInvention PROCEDURE FOR OBTAINING POLYOLEFINS IN POWDER FORM.
abstract Process for obtaining polyolefins in powder form with high pouring weight, good fluidity, average grain diameters up to 1000 microns and practically no portion of very fine grain by polymerization of ethylene, possibly in mixture with other l-olefins, as well as in the presence of hydrogen in inert liquid hydrocarbons, at temperatures between 50ºC and around 95ºC and pressures of 10 to 100 bar, preferably 20 to 60 bar, according to continuous or batch processes using Ziegler catalysts, prepared in inert liquid hydrocarbons by reaction of vanadyl compounds (V) containing chlorine or alkoxy with aluminum-organic compounds, separation of the insoluble reaction product and activation with any desired aluminum-organic compound, characterized in that: (1) a product is incorporated as vanadyl compound (V) reaction of vanadyl chloride (V) and a vanadyl alcoholate (V) in molar ratios of 1:2 to 2:1 or directly the reaction product of vanadyl chloride (V) with an alcohol, preferably ethanol, (1)-propanol, (1)-butanol in molar ratios of 1:2 to 1:1 and 2) as aluminum compounds -organic, for reduction, ethylaluminum dichloride and/or diethylaluminum chloride or isobutylaluminum dichloride and/or diisobutylaluminum chloride are applied in molar ratios of aluminum, to vanadine compound from 1:1 to 3:1, whereby (3) the reaction of the vanadine compounds with the vanadine compounds with the aluminum-organic compounds is carried out with stirring, with specific stirring yields of 0.1 to 20,000 watts/m3, preferably 1 to 5,000 watts/m3, and (4) Activation is carried out with aluminumalkyl compounds of the formula AIR3, in which R is hydrocarbon radicals with 2 to 8 carbon atoms, or with alkylaluminum sesquichloride and/or alkylaluminum dichloride, in particular ethylaluminum sesquichloride and/or dichloride ethylaluminum.
