titleOfInvention | PROCEDURE TO OBTAIN COMPOUNDS FROM 2-OXA-7,9- DIAZA-BICICLO (4,2,2) DEAN. |
abstract | Reactive intermediates which can be used for the conversion of a free carboxyl group into a carbamoyl or carbazoyl group, the hydrogen atoms of which can optionally be substituted, for example, in particular by lower alkyl radicals, by reacting a reactive compound of these with ammonia or hydrazine hydrate or with an N-substituted derivative, especially by N-lower alkyl in a manner known per se. With the same nitrogenous reagents, the esterified carboxyl groups can generally be converted into the corresponding carbamoyl or carbazoyl groups into the final products of formula I. The salts of the compounds of the formula with a free carboxyl group can be formed, for example, by treatment with metal compounds, such as alkali metal hydroxide carbonates or bicarbonates or alkali metal salts of suitable carboxylic acids, for example the salt sodium of alpha-ethylcaproic acid, or with ammonia or a suitable organic amine, preferably stoichiometric amounts or only a small excess of the salt-forming medium being used. |
