titleOfInvention A PROCEDURE FOR PREPARING N- (6-ACILOXY-BENZOTHIAZOL-2-1L) -N'-PHENYLUREA COMPOUNDS.
abstract Novel phenylurea derivatives of the formula I are prepared by reacting an N-(6-hydroxybenzothiazol-2-yl)-N'-phenylurea of the formula II with an anhydride of acetic acid, propionic acid, isopropionic acid, butyric acid, isobutyric acid or benzoic acid in the presence of pyridine. In the formulae I and II, R is a hydrogen atom, a halogen atom, an alkyl group having 1-3 carbon atoms or an alkoxy group, and R' represents an alkyl radical having 1-3 carbon atoms or the phenyl radical. The novel phenylurea derivatives of the formula I are suitable for modifying the immune response, and they have a specific action against those cells which are active in the immune response.
