abstract Novel compounds of Formula I (in which R1 is H, halogen, CF 3 , C 1-4 alkyl, C 1-4 alkoxy or C 1-4 alkylthio, and R2 is CN, COOH, COOR3, CONR4R5 or COR6, where R3 is C 1-4 alkyl, each of R4 and R5 is H or C 1-4 alkyl, and R6 is C 1-4 alkyl or phenyl) and their acid addition salts, are prepared by reacting a compound of Formula II with a compound of formula CH 2 =CH-R2 and, if desired, converting the product into an acid addition salt. The novel compounds and salts have neuroleptic activity.
