| abstract | Compounds of the general formula (R 1 = C 2-3 alkyl or hydroxyalkyl or methoxy (C 2-3 alkyl) R 2 = C 2-3 hydroxyalkyl) are prepared by (a) reducing a compound of the formula and oxidizing the hydrogenated compound obtained, or (b) reacting a compound of the formula (A = group which may be interchanged with -NR 1 R 2 by reaction with an appropriate amine and A 1 , 2 = morpholino, or A = -NR 1 R 2 and A 1 , 2 = morpholino or group which may be interchanged with a morpholino group by reaction with morpholine, provided that at least one of A 1 , 2 is not morpholino) with R 1 R 2 NH and/or morpholine. The above compounds act on the heart and circulation and inhibit thrombocyte aggregation. They may be administered in the form of pharmaceutical preparations containing them in association with a carrier. |
