titleOfInvention PROCEDURE FOR OBTAINING ORGANOSILICICAL COMPOSITIONS FOR THE TREATMENT OF PAPER.
abstract Paper is coated with a composition comprising 100 parts by wt. of diorganopolysiloxane (I) soluble in organic solvent and containing at least two si-bonded OH groups, I to 25 parts by wt. of a liquid polysiloxane (II) having not less than Si-bonded hydrogen atoms (attached to different Si atoms), 2 to 20 parts by weight of an organic tin compound (III) soluble in organic solvents, and from 0.2 to 15 parts by wt. of an amine having a dissociation constant in aqueous solution of not less than 10-9. I may have a viscosity of 3000 to 108 cs. at e.g. an OH-terminated dimethylpolysiloxane. II may have a visocity of .5-200 cs. at 25 C e.g. a methylhydrogenpolysiloxane. III is defined as a diorganotinacylate in which the acyl group is derived from a monovalent acid and is a monovalent aromatic group or an aliphatic group having no more than 4 carbon atoms and which may contain substituents, a diorganotin alkoxide or phenoxide, a diorganodioximotin, a dioximopolydiorganostannoxane or a diacylpolydiorganostannoxane. Examples of IV are tetraethylenepentamine, aminobutanol, allylamine, benzylamine, nbutylamine, diethylamine, n-octylamine, piperidine, triethanolamine, triethylenediamine and tetramethylguanidine. Examples relate to the coating of a vegetable parchment paper. The coating has a releasing action with pressure sensitive adhesives.
