abstract A process for preparing a storable animal feed additive composition comprises mixing dry crystalline choline chloride with from 0.5 to 30 per cent by wt. based on the choline chloride, of synthetic finely divided X-ray amorphous silicon dioxide with a particle size of less than 500 mu. The feed additive may comprise vitamins, prophylactics, amino acids, trace elements and salts. The additives may be used with fish meal, soya cake, ground nut cake, yeast or molasses. The silicon dioxide may be prepared by flame hydrolysis of silicon tetrachloride or tetrafluoride.
