titleOfInvention PROCEDURE FOR OBTAINING A DIAGNOSTIC MEANS FOR THE RECOGNITION OF THE CONSTITUENTS OF PURE BLOOD
abstract An absorbent test paper which is wholly or partially impregnated with one or more reagents and indicators for diagnosing components in full blood is either in the case of partial impregnation impregnated at the other end with, or in the case of whole impregnation in association with another test paper impregnated with, an amino acid, an amino acid amide or a salt thereof which gives a separation of red blood substance from only slightly coloured blood fluids so that the colour reaction of an area only coloured by the fluids can be observed. The reagent and indicator test paper may be covered on one side by a paper impregnated with an amino acid and on the other side by a transparent, heat-sealable water insoluble synthetic resin, through which the colour reaction can be observed. Glycocoll, alamine, glycinamide, asparafine and glutamine are given as examples of aminoacids and aminoacid amides.
