A method for reducing antennal fucosylation of complex N-glycans in a glycoprotein that is recombinantly expressed in a human primary amniocyte cell line, wherein said cell line comprises at least one nucleic acid encoding gene products of adenoviral regions E1 and pIX, and wherein said cell line is genetically modified to overexpress β-galactoside α-2,6-sialyltransferase 1 (ST6Gal1) and/or β-galactoside α-2,3-sialyltransferase 4 (ST3Gal4) compared to the sialyltransferase expression level before genetic modification. |
