abstract |
A method of manufacturing a pressurized metered dose inhaler (pMDI) comprising: i) tabletting a selected amount of: at least one particulate active pharmaceutical ingredient (API); at least one excipient provided as a particulate carrier material with a particle size in a range between 15 µm - 200 µm, and a disintegrant that is soluble in a liquid phase propellant; ii) placing said tablet in a container; iii) fixedly coupling a dispensing valve to said container; and iv) dispensing liquid phase propellant into said container. |
