titleOfInvention | Analyte level calibration using baseline analyte level |
abstract | Method for improving the measurement accuracy of the analyte level of an in vivo placed analyte sensor, the method comprising: collecting signal data from an in vivo placed analyte sensor over a period of time, wherein the signal data are indicative of analyte levels; analyze the collected signal data and identify the signal data points that appear most frequently among the collected data; correlating said identified signal data points with a normal physiological level for the analyte, the identified signal data points being taken from signal data collected from the analyte sensor placed in vivo; and obtaining analyte levels from the collected signal data using the identified signal data points as a reference point for the normal physiological level of analyte for a wearer of the analyte sensor in vivo. |
