titleOfInvention | Preparation method of 2-fluoroacrylate |
abstract | A method of producing a 2-fluoroacrylate having the structure of formula F, wherein said method comprises the steps of: (1) mixing a vinyl ether having the structure of formula A with dichloromonofluoromethane to produce a substituted cyclopropane compound having has the structure of formula B; (2) mixing the substituted cyclopropane compound having the structure of formula B with R2OH to produce an acetal product having the structure of formula C, followed by hydrolysis to produce 2-fluoroacrylaldehyde having the structure of formula D, wherein the substituted cyclopropane compound having the structure of formula B is mixed with R2OH at a temperature of 80-150°C; or reacting the substituted cyclopropane compound having the structure of formula B with water to produce 2-fluoroacrylaldehyde having the structure of formula D by hydrolysis; (3) oxidizing 2-fluoroacrylaldehyde having the structure of formula D to produce 2-fluoroacrylic acid having the structure of formula E, wherein the oxidation uses a catalyst selected from the group consisting of an iron salt, a salt of vanadium, tungstate, a molybdenum salt, a complex salt derived therefrom, and the cobalt salt, cobalt diacetylacetonate, and is carried out at a temperature of 0-60°C; (4) mixing 2-fluoroacrylic acid having the structure of the formula E with R3OH to produce a 2-fluoroacrylate having the structure of the formula F, wherein the mixing is carried out at a temperature of 10-50°C; **(See formula)** wherein each of R1, R2 and R3 is independently a C1 to C20 aliphatic or aromatic substituent. |
