abstract A soft gel comprising a therapeutic agent, for use in a method of treating baby poultry in a brood pan, the method comprising: providing a soft gel form capable of being dispensed through a spray nozzle , the soft gel comprising a therapeutic agent, providing a spray dispensing apparatus, the apparatus that is capable of delivering a predetermined volume of the gel as a plurality of small beads through a plurality of spray nozzles arranged along a manifold , place the pup tray containing the pups below the spray nozzles of the dispensing apparatus, dispense the predetermined volume of the soft gel as small beads into the pup tray, and allow the pups to consume the beads, thereby treating pups with the therapeutic agent.
