abstract A new chemical compound of formula 1 **(See formula)** in which: Y is the DRUG-CO; the DRUG-OCO; the DRUG-NRCO, and X is selected from **(See formula)** with the exception that the modification can be carried out in more than one functional group of the DRUG, G- can be selected from iodide, chloride, bromide , mesylate, tosylate or tetrafluoroborate, or any other pharmaceutically acceptable anion; G- can be one or more opposite ions to balance the charge, R, R1 and R2 are independently H, straight or branched chain C1-C8 alkyl (optionally containing 1 to 3 heteroatoms selected from O, N, S, SO , or SO2; 3 to 7 membered cycloalkyl optionally containing 1 to 3 heteroatoms selected from O, N, S, SO, or SO2 and or lower alkyl, straight or branched alkyl, alkoxy; alkaryl, aryl, heteroaryl, or alkytaryl; or independently forms part of a 3 to 7 membered ring optionally containing 1 to 2 additional heteroatoms selected from O, N, S, SO, SO2 and may also be optionally substituted with alkoxy, F or Cl; wherein the chemical compound is selected from the group consisting of i.1-((2,6-diisopropylphenoxy)carbonyloxy)methyl)-3-(dimethylcarbamoyl)pyridinium mesylate; ii. 1-(((2,6-diisopropylphenoxy)carbonyloxy)methyl)-3-(methylcarbamoyl)pyridinium mesylate; iii. 3-carbamoyl-1-((2,6-diisopropylphenoxy)carbonyloxy)methyl)pyridinium mesylate; IV. 1-(((2,6-diisopropylphenoxy)carbonyloxy)methyl)-3-(methylcarbamoyl)pyridinium iodide; v.
