A Plasma Protein Fraction (PPF) for use in treating an age-related cognitive disorder, wherein an effective amount of the FPP is administered to a subject diagnosed with the age-related cognitive disorder, in the that the FPP has a total protein content consisting of at least 83% but less than 95% albumin, not more than 17% globulins and other plasma proteins, and not more than 1% gamma globulin, in which said FPP is derived from human plasma. |
