abstract |
A pharmaceutical composition for use in a method of treating or preventing diabetes mellitus by lowering blood glucose levels and reducing body weight, the composition comprising a long-acting insulin conjugate and a double agonist conjugate long-acting GLP-1/glucagon, wherein the long-acting insulin conjugate is a conjugate in which insulin is linked to an immunoglobulin Fc region through a non-peptidyl polymer; wherein the long-acting GLP-1/glucagon dual agonist conjugate is a conjugate in which the GLP-1/glucagon dual agonist is linked to an immunoglobulin Fc region via a non-peptidyl polymer, wherein the insulin is the insulin analog according to SEQ ID NO. 3. 4; and wherein the GLP-1/glucagon dual agonist comprises an amino acid sequence selected from the group consisting of amino acid sequences represented by SEQ ID NOs: 40, 63 and 64, and simultaneously activates the GLP-1 receptor and glucagon receptors. |
