titleOfInvention Use of clay mineral as feed additive and/or supplementary feed for shrimp
abstract Use of at least one interlayered clay mineral of montmorillonite and illite/muscovite as a feed additive and/or as a complementary feed for shrimp, characterized in that - the interlayered clay mineral is crushed before use to an average particle size of 0 ,1 and 10 μm, - it is thermally treated at a temperature between 50 ºC and 200 ºC over a period of time of 10 to 60 min, and - administering 2% by weight of the interlayered clay mineral of montmorillonia and illite/muscovite with respect to the total quantity of a supplied feed for shrimps.
