abstract | Procedure to determine the degree of glycosylation of transferrin and electrochemical equipment to carry out said procedure. The present invention relates to a method for determining the degree of glycosylation of transferrin (Tf) in a sample isolated from a subject comprising the steps of: contacting the sample with an Os (VI) complex to form a Tf- Os(VI) complex; purify the adduct formed in the previous stage and carry out an electrochemical measurement to obtain an indicator of the degree of glycosylation of Tf. The present invention also refers to a kit to carry out the procedure and to a measurement equipment to carry out the electrochemical measurement. |
