abstract | An agrochemical concentrate comprising; i) at least one structurant, said structurant being a polyol ester of a C4 to C16 dicarboxylic acid, and wherein the amount of structurant present is in the range of 0.1 wt% to 12.0 wt%; ii) surfactant adjuvant; iii) at least one agrochemical active ingredient selected from insecticides, fungicides or herbicides and/or a nutrient; and wherein the surfactant builder is selected from polyoxyethylene (7) C12-C15 alcohol C8-C10 alkyl polysaccharide, polyoxyethylene (35) castor oil, polyoxyethylene (12) mono-trimerate di-ethyl ethanol amine, polyoxyethylene (40) oleate ) sorbitol or polyoxyethylene (20) sorbitan monolaurate, wherein the concentration of surfactant builder is greater than about 50% by weight of the total concentrate, and wherein the concentrate is formulated as a suspension concentrate (SC), concentrate in oil-based suspension (DO) or suspoemulsion formulation (SE); wherein the structurant is obtainable by the reaction of; C4 to C16 dicarboxylic acid; sorbitol or sorbitan; and C16 to C30 monocarboxylic fatty acid, wherein the molar ratio of C4 to C16 dicarboxylic acid, sorbitol or sorbitan, and C16 to C30 monocarboxylic fatty acid present in the structurant is in the range of 0.5-1.5:1 .5-2.5: 2.5-3.5 respectively. |
