abstract | A process for the preparation of a pyridazine amino compound of formula V or a salt, tautomer or N-oxide thereof characterized in that it comprises **(See formula)** the reaction step of (a) an amino compound of dichloropyridazine of the formula IVa or a salt, tautomer or N-oxide thereof or (b) an amino compound of dichloropyridazine of the formula IVb or a salt, tautomer or N-oxide thereof or (c) a mixture of (a) and (b) **(See formula)** with hydrogen in the presence of a hydrogenation catalyst, wherein the process further comprises the step of reacting (a) a dichloropyridazine amino compound of formula IVa or a salt , tautomer, or N-oxide thereof or (b) a dichloropyridazine amino compound of the formula IVb or a salt, tautomer, or N-oxide thereof or (c) a mixture of (a) and (b) in a reaction in a single vessel comprising the steps of the reaction of the compound of formula II **(See formula)** with POCl3 and through the reaction of the product of r resulting crude reaction with an amine compound R1-NH2 or a salt thereof, wherein the isolation step of the trichloropyridazine compound of formula III **(See formula)** is omitted and wherein the trichloropyridazine is transferred to a phase organic and used directly in the next reaction step; and where R1 is H, C1-C2-alkyl or C1-C2-alkoxy-C1-C2-alkyl. |
