Water treatment method comprising: feeding either raw water or pretreated water obtained by pretreating raw water in a pretreatment step, as feed water, to a semi-permeable membrane module by applying a pressure with a booster pump; and separating the feedwater into a concentrate and a permeate, wherein a scale inhibitor is dosed to the feedwater within 0-10 seconds before or after a reducer is dosed to the feedwater, in the that the feed water contains a transition metal in an amount of 0.001 mg/l or more, and in which the transition metal comprises at least one transition metal selected from Fe(II/III), Mn(II), Mn (III), Mn(IV), Cu(I/II), Co(II/III), Ni(II), and Cr(II/III/IV/VI). |
