abstract | A resin composition for fiber reinforced plastic, comprising an epoxy resin (A), a cyanate resin (B), and at least one aromatic amine curing agent (C) that is liquid at 25°C, which is at least one selected from metaphenylenediamine, a diaminodiphenylmethane, a diaminodimethyldiphenylmethane, a diaminodiethyldiphenylmethane, a diaminodiethyltoluene, a 1-methyl-3,5-bis(methylthio)-2,4-benzenediamine, and a 1-methyl-3,5-bis( methylthio)-2,6-benzenediamine, wherein 20 to 100 percent by mass of the aforementioned epoxy resin (A) is an epoxy compound expressed by the following general formula (1); **(See formula)** where (a) and (b) each independently express an integer from 2 to 10, (c) express an integer from 0 to 3, R1 and R2 each independently express a group bivalent hydrocarbon having 2 to 5 carbon atoms and R3 expresses a single bond, a methylene group or -C(CH3)2; wherein an active energy radiation absorbable component (D) is further contained and wherein the amount of active energy radiation absorbable component (D) used varies from 0.001 to 1 percent by mass with respect to the total amount of the resin composition. |
