Non-woven cellulose fiber material with different pore groups |
abstract |
A nonwoven cellulose fiber material (102) made directly from the spinning solution of lyocell (104), wherein the material (102) comprises a network of substantially endless fibers (108) and wherein the material (102) consists in addition to: a plurality of first pores (260) delimited between a first plurality of the fibers (108) and having sizes (280) within a first range of sizes; a plurality of second pores (264) bounded between a second plurality of the fibers (108) and having sizes (282) within a second range of sizes; where the first size range encompasses sizes (280) that are smaller than the sizes (282) encompassed by the second size range, where the plurality of first pores (260) are arranged throughout the material (102) and the plurality of second pores (264) is provided only by a subsection of the material (102), and where at least 80% by mass of the fibers (108) have an average fiber diameter between 1 µm and 40 µm. |
