abstract |
A method for detecting a breast cancer cell in a breast cell sample obtained from breast tissue of a subject, the method comprising: a) flow cytometric analysis of the breast cell sample to obtain: i) sample data comprising sample cell density data; ii) epithelial cell data comprising DNA content data, proliferation data and cell volume data; and iii) white blood cell (WBC) data comprising at least one of an estrogen receptor expression level and a progesterone receptor expression level; and b) evaluating the obtained sample data, epithelial cell data and white blood cell data to detect the breast cancer cell in the breast cell sample. |
