abstract | A process for the preparation of high purity dabigatran etexilate comprising: a) adding a crude product of dabigatran etexilate in water, suspension at 5-30 ° C, and filtering after suspending for 1-2 h to obtain a crude product B ; b) Add the crude product B in acetone, heat to 20-50 ° C to obtain a clear solution, then add water dropwise to the solution, cool the solution to 0-10 ° C and filter to obtain a crude product C ; and c) add crude product C to a mixture of tetrahydrofuran and ethyl acetate, heat to 50-70 ° C to dissolve and then cool to 40-45 ° C, preferably add a seed crystal, slowly cool to 0-5 ° C , then filter, dry the filter cake at 40-50 ° C under vacuum to obtain the high purity dabigatran etexilate. |
