abstract Probe for treating an ocular pathology comprising: - a ring (1) that includes a truncated cone (11) that has a first end (111) adapted to support ultrasound generation means (2) and a second end (112 ) to make contact with an eye (4) of a patient, the ring also including a sleeve (12) coaxial with the truncated cone (11). - ultrasound generation means (2) including a crown (21) comprising a first base (211) destined to be located opposite the first end (111), and a second base (212) opposite the first base (211) , the jacket (12) extending outward from the first end (111) to surround the crown (21), characterized in that the probe also comprises a flow regulator (3) that includes an opening (3) defined between the sleeve (12) and crown (21), the opening (3) having a thickness between 0.1 millimeters and 5 millimeters and extending over the entire height of the crown (21) to: - allow passage between the second bases and first (212, 211), of a coupling fluid that has a viscosity greater than or equal to that of water, favoring the transmission of ultrasound towards the patient's eye, and - preventing the propagation of bubbles contained in the coupling fluid that circulates towards the first base (211) while filling the probe with said fluid.
