abstract | A process for the production of an ethylene alpha-olefin copolymer, comprising: feeding a catalyst system comprising a silica-supported bis (n-propyl-cyclopentadiene) hafnium-dimethyl with methylalumoxane having pores saturated with a liquid hydrocarbon having at least 12 carbon atoms to a gas phase polymerization reactor; contacting ethylene and an alpha-olefin with the silica-supported bis (n-propyl-cyclopentadiene) hafnium-dimethyl with methylalumoxane in the gas phase polymerization reactor to produce an ethylene alpha-olefin copolymer having: a density less than 0 , 93 g / cm3 measured according to ASTM D-792, a melt index ratio (I21 / I2) of at least 28, where I21 is measured according to ASTM D-1238-F and I2 is measured according to ASTM D-1238-E ; and a melt index (I2) less than 2 dg / min, measured according to ASTM D-1238-E. |
