abstract | An acid dialysis precursor composition for use during the preparation of an acid dialysis concentrate solution and for mixing with water and a concentrate containing bicarbonate in a ready-to-use dialysis solution, wherein said acid dialysis precursor composition consists of powdered components comprising sodium chloride, at least one dry acid selected from the group of citric acid and glucono-δ-lactone and at least one calcium salt selected from the group of anhydrous calcium chloride and calcium gluconate, and chloride magnesium hexahydrate, and optionally potassium glucose salt, wherein said optional glucose is present as an anhydrous component in said acid dialysis precursor composition, and wherein said acid dialysis precursor composition is sealed in a moisture resistant container with a water vapor transmission rate of less than 0.3 g / m2 / day at 38 ºC / 90% RH. |
