abstract A method of integrating the production of aluminoxane into the production of catalyst, comprising: reacting a hydrocarbyl aluminum compound and water in a recycled solvent to produce at least one reaction mixture comprising an aluminoxane, a residue of the hydrocarbyl aluminum compound and the recycled solvent; combining at least a portion of the reaction mixture with a catalyst component to produce at least one catalyst composition; separating the catalyst composition from the recycled solvent in the reaction mixture; and recycling at least a portion of the separated solvent to produce additional aluminoxane, the separated solvent comprising at least a portion of the remainder of the aluminum hydrocarbyl compound.
