abstract An antisclerostin antibody comprising a CDR-H1 of SEQ ID NO: 245, a CDR-H2 of SEQ ID NO: 246, a CDR-H3 of SEQ ID NO: 247, a CDR-L1 of SEQ ID NO : 78, a CDR-L2 of SEQ ID NO: 79 and a CDR-L3 of SEQ ID NO: 80, for use in a method of increasing bone mineral density in a postmenopausal woman, the method comprising administering, to a postmenopausal woman suffering from osteoporosis, said antisclerostin antibody in an amount and during a period of treatment effective to increase the bone mineral density (BMD) of the lumbar vertebrae by at least 9% compared to the initial value before treatment at twelve months after the initial administration of the antisclerostin antibody; wherein the amount of the antisclerostin antibody administered is 140 mg to 210 mg and the amount of the antisclerostin antibody is administered at an interval not more frequently than once a month.
