An aqueous solution containing 0.1% to 7.0% by weight of a glycosaminoglycan (GAG) selected from at least one of hyaluronan, chondroitin, dermatin, keratin, heparan and heparin, 1.0% to 25% in weight of a neutral colloidal polysaccharide selected from at least one of dextran, a hydroxyethyl starch, and fucoidan, and from 0.3% to 35% by weight of a neutral subcolloidal crystalloid polysaccharide which is an isomaltose oligomer, wherein the Glycosaminoglycan (GAG) has a weight average molecular weight of about 2 kD to about 5,000 kD, the neutral colloidal polysaccharide has a weight average molecular weight of about 20 kD to about 100 kD, and the neutral subcolloidal crystalloid polysaccharide has a weight average molecular weight of about 0.4 kD to about 4 kD, for use in the repair, regeneration, treatment or induction of repair of a lesion or defect in a connective tissue. |
