The present invention relates to an in vitro method of diagnosis of an infection caused by Pseudomonas aeruginosa ST175 characterized by comprising the identification of the nucleotide sequence SEQ ID NO: 1 or, alternatively, of a fragment of it or, alternatively, of a sequence with at least 99% identity with the nucleotide sequence SEQ ID NO: 1 or, alternatively, of an expression product thereof. It also refers to an in vitro method of decision or recommendation of an antibiotic treatment that includes the detection of said sequences, as well as their use and a kit that includes the specific tools to be identified.
