abstract | Process for carrying out combustion in a fluidized bed furnace, especially a sand bed furnace, according to which a flow of primary combustion air is blown through the bed, the fuel being constituted in particular of organic residues, or of residues urban, or sludge from treatment plants, with secondary air being able to be injected into the furnace space above the bed, a procedure in which, in order to limit the production of nitrogen oxides NOx and nitrogen protoxide N2O: - the content of nitrogen protoxide N2O and nitrogen oxides NOx is measured at the oven outlet; - The temperature of the fluidized bed is controlled to maintain it at the highest admissible value for which the production of nitrogen protoxide N2O is substantially reduced, while the production of nitrogen oxides NOx is not substantially increased, this temperature being between 700ºC and 850 ° C; - and the excess air in the fluidized bed is controlled to maintain the oxygen content at the lowest admissible value for which the production of nitrogen oxides NOx is reduced without damaging combustion and the temperature of the bed, this content being comprised between 0% and 6% by volume, controlling the excess air in the fluidized bed from a measurement of the oxygen content O2 in the fumes at the oven outlet and the temperature difference between the fumes at the outlet of the furnace and fluidized bed. |
