A modified release formulation comprising a beta-lactamase, wherein the formulation comprises at least one modified release granule and wherein each modified release granule comprises: 10-20% by weight of beta-lactamase comprising an amino acid sequence that has at least 95% sequence identity with SEQ ID NO: 1, 3 or 6; 20-30% by weight of sucrose sphere; 30-40% by weight of hydroxypropyl cellulose; 15-25% by weight of an enteric polymer; 1.5-2.5% by weight of triethyl citrate; 0.5-1.5% by weight of glyceryl monostearate; 0.1-1.0% by weight of polysorbate-80; and 1-2% by weight of buffer salt. |
