abstract | Method for fixing strip-shaped sheet structures, in particular edgebands to narrow sides of workpieces, in particular furniture plates, by means of a strip supply facility, which transports the corresponding sheet structure from a stock store, in particular a supply roll, along a supply path towards the workpiece, furthermore using a heat source, in particular laser light, hot air or based on infrared or plasma, which carries a functional layer for transmitting adhesion of the foil structure at an activation temperature, as well as with a device for pressing or pressing the foil structure onto the corresponding narrow side of the workpiece, characterized in that it is configured in the delivery path of the foil structure before the actuation of the heat source, at least a first application device for a fluid agent, which applies the fluid agent metered on the opposite side to the functional layer, of the laminar structure, in such a way that for the required rapid cooling process a heat sink is formed, the fluid agent being a non-corrosive functional surface coating of performance temporary, capable of being sprayed, based on a water-free alcoholic acetate solution, and another second application device being provided, for a fluid agent, oriented towards the side of the functional layer, to achieve before the actuation of the source of heat a cleaning of the surface of the laminar structure. |
