abstract | Heat sensitive recording material with a flat support, a thermoreaction layer on at least one side of the flat support and an intermediate layer formed between the flat support and the respective thermoreaction layer as well as optionally other layers, in which the binder is uses a crosslinked biopolymeric material in the form of nanoparticles and wherein the crosslinked biopolymeric material in the form of nanoparticles is obtainable by a process in which a biopolymeric material is plasticized using shear forces and in the presence of a crosslinking agent and dispersed at continuation in a hydrolytic solvent, in which the cross-linked biopolymeric material in the form of nanoparticles is used in the thermoreaction layer (s) and / or the intermediate layer (s) and in which the Crosslinked biopolymeric material in the form of nanoparticles has a degree of swelling of less than 1, in which the crosslinked biopolymeric material in the form of nanoparticles ulas is a starch, a starch derivative or a polymeric mixture with at least 50% by weight of starch or starch derivative, in which the degree of swelling refers to a volume expansion, when the crosslinked biopolymeric material in the form of nanoparticles is swollen in water, in which for its determination a sample of an anhydrous quantity of 2 g to 200 ml of pure water is added, in which it is dispersed and immediately after this it is heated in a water bath at a good boiling point for 30 minutes and it is cooled to room temperature and the part of the water that has evaporated is added and the sample is dispersed again and 100 ml of the dispersion are added in a measuring cylinder and the measuring cylinder is left at rest for 24 hours at room temperature and a precipitate is visually measured with respect to its quantity (ml) and this value is taken as the degree of swelling. |
