abstract | A method of producing a latex composition comprising adding (C) a pH regulator to (A) a chloroprene polymer latex, and then mixing (B) an acrylic polymer latex wherein the latex composition comprises: (A ) chloroprene polymer latex; (B) acrylic polymer latex; and (C) the pH adjuster, wherein (A) the chloroprene polymer latex contains a chloroprene polymer, wherein (B) the acrylic polymer latex contains an acrylic polymer having a glass transition temperature of -40 at -10°C, wherein (C) the pH regulator is 3 to 6 parts by mass (in terms of solid content) of boric acid or at least one compound selected from amino acids having an isoelectric point of 5.5 to 6 .5, where the rate of (A) the chloroprene polymer latex in the latex composition is 50 to 85% by mass in terms of solid content, and where the rate of (B) the acrylic polymer latex in the latex composition it is 15 to 50% by mass in terms of solid content. |
