| abstract | A pressure sensitive adhesive tape container (10) housing an adhesive tape (14) having a backing (18) and a layer of adhesive agent (12) provided on a surface of the backing (18), the container comprising pressure sensitive adhesive tape (10) a release sheet (16) releasably attached to the adhesive agent layer (12), where the release sheet (16) is folded into a first portion (20) and a second portion (22) along a first predetermined fold line, the adhesive tape (14) is folded into a first portion (26) and a second portion (28) along a second predetermined fold line, so that that the adhesive agent layer (12) faces outward, and the folded adhesive tape (14) is sealed within the folded release sheet (16); where the first portion (26) of the folded adhesive tape (14) is larger than the second portion (28) of the folded adhesive tape (14), and the first portion (26) has an extending portion extending from the second portion (28) and a temporary fixing means (24) is provided in a part of the second portion (22) of the folded release sheet (16) facing the extending portion of the folded adhesive tape (14) , the temporary fixing means (24) being in contact with the surface of the extension portion of the support (18) of the folded adhesive tape (14), where the surface is on the side of the support that is opposite to the side in providing the bonding agent layer, and providing the temporary fixing means to easily release the release sheet (16) from the bonding agent layer (12) of the adhesive tape (14); the temporary fixing means (24) being a hot melt adhesive; and an adhesive force of the backing (18) of the adhesive tape (14) to the release sheet (16) through the temporary fixing means (24) is greater than an adhesive force of the adhesive agent layer (12) at the release sheet (16). |
