abstract | Apparatus for measuring a cloudy sample comprising: a lighting apparatus (12, 112) having a plurality of light sources (14) configured to illuminate a target area of a cloudy sample with unstructured flat light to a plurality of wavelengths, a projection system (16, 116) configured to illuminate said cloudy sample target zone with a spatially structured light at a plurality of wavelengths, the wavelengths of the unstructured planar light being different from the wavelengths wavelengths of spatially structured light, a sensor (18) configured to collect a plurality of wavelengths of planar unstructured light and a plurality of wavelengths of spatially structured light transmitted from the target area of the cloudy sample, and a processor (22) configured to analyze the data of the flat sent unstructured light and the spatially sent structured light collected by the sensor r to determine the dispersion and absorption coefficients of the cloudy sample. |
