This procedure for obtaining food coloring derived from saffron, which starts with the use of saffron in threads that is ground and mixed together with a base of corn flour, wheat flour, maltodextrin or similar in a process in which during the mixture is added an alcoholic liquid to promote the transfer of the color and a subsequent drying with hot air, resulting in a product with variable color units and saffron aroma depending on the proportions of saffron and base used. |
