abstract | Transdermal drug delivery system consisting of, a backing layer; a drug-containing matrix layer; and a release layer, wherein the drug-containing matrix layer comprises (a) donepezil or a pharmaceutically acceptable salt thereof as an active ingredient in an amount ranging from 5 to 40% by weight, based on the total weight of the drug-containing matrix layer; and (b) an acrylate-rubber hybrid as an adhesive in an amount ranging from 60 to 90% by weight, based on the total weight of the drug-containing matrix layer, wherein the acrylate-rubber hybrid is an acrylic polymer comprising a C4~C18 alkyl acrylate monomer grafted with a rubber macromer having a glass transition temperature of not more than -30°C. |
