abstract |
A method for improving the removal of infectious particles from a thrombin solution comprising: (a) adding to said solution a macromolecule of at least 3 monomers selected from sugars and sugar alcohols, and (b) passing said solution through a nanofilter, thus improving the removal of infectious particles from the thrombin solution, in which the log reduction value (VRL) of the infectious particles after step (b) is greater than 4, and in which the macromolecule is not a nonionic surfactant. |
