abstract | Thermoplastic moldable mass M consisting of: (A) from 1 to 100% by weight, in particular from 2 to 80% by weight, of a polymeric component A with antimicrobial action, containing (A1) from 0.2 to 25 % by weight, with respect to the total mass of polymeric component A, of polyguanidine as component A1 and (A2) 75-99.8% by weight, with respect to the total mass of polymeric component A, of polymer A2, which contains at least one functional group, which can react with A1, the polymer A2 being a copolymer of: A21: maleic anhydride, maleinimide and/or (meth)acrylic acid, and A22: one or more of the monomers styrene, acrylonitrile, (meth )acrylate, and A23: optionally one or more other monomers which can be copolymerized with A21 and A22; (B) from 0 to 99% by weight, in particular from 20 to 98% by weight, of another thermoplastic polymeric component B and (C) from 0 to 40% by weight, in particular from 0.2 to 15% by weight , of one or more additives or adjuvants as component C, resulting in the sum of the % by weight of components A, B and C together being 100% by weight. |
